Jackied Kind Of Healthy Granola Bars
These granola bars are delicious and this recipe has been in the family for years. My momma used to make them for my brothers and me when we were kids and then I made them for my boys when they were youngsters. They loved taking these as birthday treats, but from what I hear, that wouldn’t fly now-a-days due to the fact that there are so many children that have peanut allergies. That is a whole different discussion that I may touch on some day. Anyway, I still make these “not so healthy” granola bars as a sweet snack for my hubby and for family when they are visiting. They are quite yummy and it is hard to eat just one. (You’ve been warned!) I have a hard time keeping my hands off of them and find it hard to eat just one. I have change the recipe a little to make it as healthy as possible, but there is a limit to how healthy you can make a sweet treat.
